Rachel Charette
Rachel is the Regional Director for Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. Rachel is a member of the Metis/Michif Nation with roots in the Red River Settlement and has Metis (French, Ojibwe, Cree, Scottish and Assiniboine) ancestry. Rachel has worked within non-profit management in the urban Indigenous community over the last 20+ years. She has experience developing, implementing and managing programs and services in a variety of sectors including community/restorative justice, family violence prevention, mental health, culture/heritage and education. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree, and is currently working on her Masters in Social Work. She is a volunteer on several boards and committees in the community, is the mother of 2 children, enjoys reading, learning land based and traditional skills and is an outdoors enthusiast. She works out of her home office in Winnipeg.
