Thank you for your interest in using the KAIROS Blanket Exercise script. We are putting systems in place in order to expand our capacity to deliver the exercise in a way that preserves its integrity and safety. During this transition period there may be a delay in bringing new facilitators into the program. We thank you in advance for your patience.
Blanket Exercise Standard Edition, 2015
This is the standard script for the KAIROS Blanket Exercise. It contains preparation instructions, the adult and youth scripts, and suggested follow-up activities. Available in both digital and print versions.
Maps used at the beginning of the Blanket Exercise
These three maps (“Turtle Island”, “Treaties”, and “Aboriginal Lands Today”), from the 1996 Report of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, are used at the beginning of the Blanket Exercise. They can be printed on letter (8 ½ x 11) or tabloid (11 x 17) format paper.
A diversity of individuals and organizations were involved in adapting the standard script for specific contexts and audiences. If you have adapted a script, and would like to share it with others, please send it to us at email@example.com and we will add it to this page.
